Red blood flows from a fresh wound on a soldier’s back…. He won’t be alive long enough to tell this tale.
Every veteran dies eventually… whether strong and bold or young and frail.
Mourning them is devastatingly sad…. Heroes never die, right? Wrong. Every hero’s life comes to an end.
Each time we sacrifice a life, we do it in vain. One life will never end a war.
More veterans with injuries pour into the crude hospital. We know we can’t save everyone.
Both sides have a goal. But we all know that only one will come out victorious.
Reality mixes with our dreams as we lie in our beds crying in pain
